Hello! I’m a journalism student at Boston University and I’ll graduate this May. In the meantime, I’m working with WBUR as their spring undergraduate fellow.
In the fall semester, I wrote for the Daily Dot as their public records intern, focusing on the impact of ransomware attacks on schools. Before that I did research and data analysis/visualization while interning for Gray Television’s DC bureau. In the past I also edited campus news and COVID-19 data coverage for WTBU News, a show on BU’s student radio station.
My writing, photography, and video work has been published in local Massachusetts papers including the Cambridge Chronicle and the Belmont Citizen-Herald. I’ve covered a wide range of topics, from School Committee meetings to farmers markets.
One of my main interests is data and investigative reporting. I can scrape, clean, and visualize data, as well as run SQL queries. I also have experiencing obtaining and negotiating for public records from state and federal agencies.
